STEAM 4-H Winter Camp (Session 1 of 2)

Butler County University of Missouri Extension is providing a Winter camp for youth ages 8-18 on science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Youth will do hands on activities and will make items to take home. Camp is December 20-21 from 8:30 am– 3:30 pm. Cost is $25 per day or $40 for both days, which includes a t-shirt. 4-H members will receive a discount! Helps divorced and separated parents learn how to support their children through the divorce process and how to work together in co-parenting their children.  Focus on Kids satisfies the Missouri law that requires parents who are divorcing or filing a motion to modify the original divorce decree, or who have never been married but have filed a child custody case, to attend an educational parenting program.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), often referred to as Obamacare, is the most sweeping health-policy change since Medicare was established in 1965. Congress passed the law in 2010, and the Supreme Court declared it to be constitutional in 2012. If you buy a plan in the Health Insurance Marketplace, you may get help from the government to pay for your premiums. The amount of help you get, called a premium tax credit, is based on how much money you earn in a year. We are here to provide you the facts you need to know to understand your rights, requirements and opportunities under the law.

Participants are made to feel comfortable regardless of their current fitness level so they can safely participate and gradually build the strength beneficial to health.
