Description:

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase independent living older adults; access to a safe, structured, and effective strength-training program. Over eight weeks, participants learn exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance. At each class, a prescribed set of eight upper and lower body strengthening exercises are done along with warm-up and cool-down stretches. Participants are made to feel comfortable regardless of their current fitness level so they can safely participate and gradually build the strength beneficial to health.

STEAM 4-H Winter Camp (Session 2 of 2)

Butler County University of Missouri Extension is providing a Winter camp for youth ages 8-18 on science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Youth will do hands on activities and will make items to take home. Camp is December 20-21 from 8:30 am– 3:30 pm. Cost is $25 per day or $40 for both days, which includes a t-shirt. 4-H members will receive a discount! Stay Strong, Stay Healthy-St. Louis County Govenment (Session 11 of 16)

Has your doctor advised you to be more active? Don't like going to the gym? Our low impact exercise program helps those that would like to be more active. This strength-training program can get your fitness journey (re)started. Participants will be guided safely by a trained instructor through warm up, eight muscle-strengthening exercises and a cool down. Equipment is provided.

Boost Your Brain and Memory, Trenton, MO (Session 3 of 8)

The class uses a whole-person approach that helps you form new habits to live a healthier lifestyle, remember things better, be more organized, pay closer attention and regulate your emotions.
