Animal Exhibition at the Franklin County Fair.
4-H and FFA members exhibit their Poultry, Rabbits, Swine, beef cattle, dairy and meat goats, and sheep to show their work throughout the club year and display their showmanship skills.
Livestock exhibits must be registered with the Franklin County MU Extension Center by June 21.
MU Extension "Farm Page of the Air" radio program (Session 172 of 261)

Radio station KWTO
This radio program is intended to educate viewers on a wide range of topics related to gardening in the Ozarks. Morris Westfall conducts the interview with Patrick Byers, MU Extension-Greene County regional horticulture specialist. The program airs several times on Saturday and Sunday on radio stations KWTO, KTXR, and KBFL.

More than half of all marriages end in divorce, and the majority of these involve children. Conflict between parents, both before and after a divorce, is associated with many negative outcomes in children. The purpose of this workshop is to help parents learn how to nurture and support their children during and after their divorce.
2 1/2 hour interactive workshop to help parents understand how to make divorce more successful for their children.

Classes are court ordered parenting classes for divorcing parents with minor age children, divorced parents who are filing a motion to modify, or never marrieds who are parents of a minor age child.
Fee can be waived by Family Court Administrator
Bates County Fair 4-H Horse Show

The Bates County Fair 4-H Horse Show will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013, starting at 4:00 p.m. Horse Judging will begin at 3:00 p.m.
The Bates County 4-H Horse show starts at 4:00 p.m. with Horse Judging starting at 3:00 p.m.
Johnson County Livestock Activities (Session 24 of 24)
When: Saturday, July 13, 2013, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Johnson County large animal livestock shows (beef, sheep, swine, dairy, lead line, goat, horse, auction, carcass contest,jackpot show); weigh-ins for beef, sheep, goats, and swine; and committee meetings. Also includes the small animal committee meetings and small animal shows (rabbit, poultry, dog, cat, buck calf).
To participate in the livestock shows 4-H and FFA members must complete pre-registration form by July 1 for the Johnson County fair.
Pleasant Day 4-H Club (Session 33 of 35)
When: Saturday, July 13, 2013, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Pleasant Day 4-H Club usually meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at Monroe City Christian Church, Monroe City.
