In FastTrac® NewVenture TM you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about start-up issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac® participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course. This program is fast-paced and energizing, using guest speakers and lots of group breakout activities. This is a five day workshop with materials and lunch provided. Workshop dates are June 23-27, 2014, times 9:00 am - 4:00 pm daily. Workshops are no cost to dislocated workers. "The Basics of Writing a Business Plan" is designed for business owners and managers who need to know how to create a business plan for their organization so the plan can be a useful management tool. During this course, participants will learn the importance of business plans, the key required elements of a basic plan and data that must be included.
Participants will also get tips on writing style to make the business plan easier to understand and more professional in appearance. Participants will leave this session with a greater understanding of what their business plan should look like and how to get started writing one.
