In this program that is delivered during private pesticide applicator training education will cover pesticide use and its impact on water quality.
Agricultural producers who wish to apply or purchase restricted use pesticides are required to attend training to obtain a new or renew their license. This training supplements the private pesticide applicator training.
Participants are encouraged to register for training so that we can prepare sufficient materials and seating. Participants are required to either bring with them a copy of the Private Pesticide Applicator Manual or purchase a copy at the training. The manual costs $12. Multiple participants from the same farm may share a manual. Participants may register by calling the Franklin County University of Missouri Extension Center at (636) 583-5141 or emailing email@example.com.
