Bovine Reproduction and Artificail Insemination (Session 2 of 2)

Description:

The use of new technologies in bovine reproductive management and artificial insemination offer cattle producers a number of benefits. These practices allow for the use of the industry’s best genetics and can also facilitate tighter calving seasons and improved calving ease in heifers. Are you among local beef and dairy producers interested in learning more about these new reproductive technologies? If so you are invited to attend this series of instructional meetings. Thursday, May 10 - Anatomy & Physiology of Reproduction in the Cow - Use of Timed AI – Procedures and Protocols Tuesday, May 15 - Economics of Timed AI - Getting Started with AI - Sire Selection and EPDs – Making Sense of the Numbers Sessions will be taught by: Ted Probert, Extension Dairy Specialist Randy Wiedmeier, Extension Livestock Specialist Jim Spencer, Extension Ag Business Specialist

Registration:
