    2020 Spring Training - Boone's Lick Master Naturalist Chapter (Session 1 of 12)

    Description:

    Help protect the natural resources of Boone and surrounding counties by becoming a Missouri Master Naturalist. The Missouri Master Naturalist program is a community-based, adult natural resource education and volunteer program designed to engage Missourians in the stewardship of our state’s natural resources.

    Participants receive natural resource based training from natural resource experts on topics including:
    Ecological Concepts
    Soils and Geology
    Forest Ecology
    Wildlife Management
    Agriculture and Conservation
    Aquatic Ecology
    Grasslands and Prairie
    Birds
    Caves and Karst, and much more!

    Registration has begun for the Boone’s Lick Chapter Master Naturalist certification training course. An orientation session will be held February 5 from 6:30 -8 p.m. at the Boone County University of Missouri Extension Office – 1012 N. Hwy UU, Columbia, MO. Closing date for registration is February 7 and class size is limited to 25.
