Council Meetings

The Madison County Extension Council meets at the MU Extension Center at 6:00 PM on the first Monday of the month.

4-H Youth Program Assistant Position Available 

Position for 4-H Youth Development Program Assistant in Madison County.  Twenty (20) hours per week.  Required qualifications: High-school graduate or GED equivalent.  Assist in the management and support of 4-H Youth Development programs in assigned geographic area, under the guidance and supervision of the 4-H Youth Development Specialist.  Starting salary $9.15 per hour.  Training provided.  Traveling required - must have transportation.  Mileage paid.  Application can be obtained online through MU jobs (eRecruit)at http://hrs.missouri.edu/find-a-job/staff/index.php

Online Training Opportunities

Build Your Board is a convenient training program designed specifically for board members of non-profit organizations. Created by University of Missouri Extension community development specialists with over 50 years of combined experience in the field, the information presented is reliable and resourceful.

Online training offers convenience and flexibility. Participants can log in at any time and can take all 16 lessons at once or can break the training up in 15-minute intervals. No meetings to attend and no travel expenses mean both time and money will be saved.
